Our Place Summer School Scholarship Program 2019

Our Place Summer School Scholarship Program 2019

Our Place Summer School is designed to “unplug” children by bringing them into direct contact with the creatures, geologies, hydrologies and infrastructures of the Nonotuck biome and the Westfield River watershed.

(Click to read the Daily Gazette article about Our Place.)

Thanks to the generosity of people who donated to our Full Moon scholarship fundraiser, we are able to offer 15 scholarships for children from the age of 6-9 years old, who participate in the National School Lunch Program.

We are looking for students who can attend our July 8-12 or August 5-9 sessions.

APPLY:

If you would like to apply for the Our Place Scholarship, we ask you to email these things to us at info@biocitizen.org:

—Your contact information

—Your child’s name, age and school

—A statement of interest, including your thoughts about your child’s love of nature

If you have any questions, please call Kurt Heidinger at 413-320-0522

Applications must be received by June 1, 2019. Decisions will be announced on June 3.
