Summer Internship Position: Our Place Photo/Videographer

Internship Position:
Photo/Videographers for Our Place Summerschool in LA, NYC and Westhampton, MA

Two 9-3, M-F weeks in the field with classes, plus editing and social media posting time. School runs from mid-June to end of August.

> Biocitizen Inc. is a nonprofit educational institution that specializes in Field Environmental Philosophy (FEP), a peripatetic way of teaching students how to read the natural and cultural history of their biome. Our Place Summerschool (OP) gets kids off the screen and into the green, and is Biocitizen’s signature educational program. Here are the OP announcements/schedules for each school:

Biocitizen seeks a college or advanced high school student majoring in photo/videography who wants to gain valuable professional experience 1) recording teachers and students while they are engaged in FEP activities, and 2) editing and then posting recordings on social media for the purpose of public education/outreach.
> Biocitizen can arrange for independent study credits with, or recognition from, your school to boost the extent of your accomplishments.

– Record teachers and students as they practice FEP
– Edit recordings/photos and post daily on social media
– Edit recording/photos into public education and outreach materials
